Founded in 1980, the mission of the Gilroy Foundation is to establish a local legacy of giving in Gilroy, California, bridging the gap between generous donors and critical community needs.
Applicant Criteria: The program will fund the following types of activities: Performing Arts, Dance, Music, Opera, Theatre, Musical Theatre, Stagecraft, Costume/ Makeup

To be eligible, applicants must:
Be a tax-exempt as defined by section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or have a fiscal sponsor with a 501(c)(3) designation.
Serve South Santa Clara County/ specifically Gilroy and the surrounding area of Sam Martin and Morgan Hill
Not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, citizenship status, creed, religion, religious affiliation, age, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status.
Not discriminate based on religious beliefs, if organization has any type of religious affiliation.
Funding will not be provided for:
Capital Improvements
Budget Shortfalls
Previously planned or long-term campaigns
Funding gaps due to organizational emergencies, such as vandalism, resignation
of an executive director or sudden loss of funding
