Since its inception, Girlboss has given away over $130,000 worth of grants to women entrepreneurs making innovative moves in fashion, design, music, and the arts.  Each grant recipient receives $15,000 in project funding, plus features on Girlboss.com (their newsletter and social media platforms).   
 
To be eligible, applicants must be: 
a female creative business owner in fashion, design, music or the arts 
a resident of the United States, and 
be at least 18 years old at the time of application 
 
The Girl Boss selection committee reviews all applications submitted within the period and judges each project based on the following criteria: Demonstrates creativity + innovation in the specific field (30%) Demonstrates business acumen + forward planning (30%) Demonstrates financial need (30%) Proposed timing, work plan, and budget are clear, detailed, and achievable within the next 12 months (10%) Since launching in 2014, the Girlboss Foundation has awarded over $130,000 in financial grants to female-identifying entrepreneurs, empowering them to turn their innovative ideas into the companies that will shape the future. The #GIRLBOSS® Foundation is seeking applications for its grant program to award one grant biannually to female entrepreneurs pursuing creative endeavors. Grants are awarded on a biannual basis to individuals pursuing entrepreneurial endeavors. Each grant beneficiary receives project funding for $15,000, plus exposure through the Girlboss platform and community, as well as local and regional press. 
 
The Girlboss Foundation aims to support next generation of young female entrepreneurs in 
the creative community. From 2014 to 2019, the Girlboss Foundation awarded $15,000 
grants twice a year to small businesses in need of commercial funding.
