Kim Guetersloh
Founder and CEO
Kim is the founder and CEO of Grant Warehouse. She received both her bachelor’s in economics and master’s degree in education from Southern Illinois University- Carbondale. Throughout her career she has worked for non-profit organizations. In 2015, Kim took an early retirement from John A. Logan College where she worked as the Director of Grants. She then opened KLG Grant Consultants and started working on a subscription-based website called Grant Warehouse.
Throughout her career (35+), she has been writing grants. She estimates that, through the receipt of grant funds more than 27 million dollars have been funneled through the 16-county region known as the Illinois Delta Region. Grants have been received for large medical centers, EMS/first responders, public health departments, schools, colleges, universities, churches, children’s programs, transportation- including buses, playground equipment, bike trails, community gardens, and so, so much more. Her special interest areas include community collaboration, rural healthcare, rural transportation, workforce education, geriatrics and poverty.
Kim is passionate about creating an affordable subscription- based website, for small non-profits and private citizens who just want to improve their community. In addition, she teaches basic and advanced grant writing classes.
Most of her life has been spent in southern Illinois. Currently, she lives with her husband and eight furry kids in Jacob, Illinois. She enjoys camping, gardening, home DIY’s, fishing and spending time with her husband, family and friends.
Carol Hollmann
Project Manager
Carol Hollmann graduated from John A. Logan College in 1980 with her Associates in Science degree. Following graduation, Carol chose to stay in Southern Illinois area. She began her career as a legal assistant/paralegal for a law firm in Murphysboro, Illinois, Hendricks, Watt & Grace, where she worked for several years before going to work for Attorney Earl Hendricks in his solo practice. In May of 1987, she continued her legal interests when she went to work for the law firm, Reed, Heller, Mansfield & Gross n/k/a Reed, Heller & Cannell where she worked for 35 years before retiring in December of 2022.
Carol and her husband, Ken, married in 1980, and continued living in the Jacob, Illinois, area where they were both born and raised. They have two children who have married and chose to pursue their careers in Southern Illinois. Ken and Carol are lifelong, active members of the Christ Lutheran Church in Jacob.
Carol enjoys traveling, exploring destinations of this beautiful country in their RV, working in the yard and on outside projects and loves spending time with their beautiful granddaughter.
