The Hartford Community Foundation for the Capitol Region of Connecticut—This is considered
a community foundation since they are committed to bringing together resources, both human
and financial, to improve the lives of all residents. Our work is only possible through the
dedication of our partners: donors, nonprofit agencies, professional advisors and community
and business leaders.

truly vibrant region by taking significant steps to dismantle structural racism and advance equity
in social and economic mobility in Greater Hartford's Black and Latine communities.
OUTCOME AREAS: The Foundation is working through partnerships to remove persistent

outcome areas focuses on the people and places facing the greatest disparities.

partnership are necessary to meet the region’s most pressing challenges. The Foundation is
committed and ready for the task.
